in the technical dairy space (dairy/food science and technology) or

Primary Responsibilities:
This is a
unique role designed for someone who has familiarity with the dairy/food
science and technology industry. The individual who fills this role
will know the technical ins and outs of the dairy industry, will have the
ability to initiate and grow relationships with dairies, and will pave the way
for building out this new area of our Food Ingredients Division. By partnering
with the sales team, you will also provide assistance in making connections for
sales opportunities and growth.
In addition to the Primary
Responsibilities listed above, you will:
- Create and
execute plans to call on all major dairies in North America with a focus
on promoting our technologies specifically designed for Dairy
applications.
- Partner
with the sales team by providing support if a local dairy is in
their geography and not already covered in your portfolio.
- Partner
closely with our applications team and specifically with our dairy
applications technical support.
- Work
closely with Marketing to create presentations, literature and other
selling tools for the dairy market.
- Work
closely with our specialty ingredients product manager to build strategic
business plans and creative ways to reach target accounts.
- Develop
annual plans, long range plans, and sales forecasts for sales region or
market
segments in support of the division’s strategies and objectives.
- Accountable
for the execution of sales plans in the sales region.
- Implement
and execute sales policies and practices.
- Introduce
our products and provides customers with sales promotional tools such as technical
data, technical formulation, brochures, presentation sheets and other
product information such as MSDS, COA and specifications, in order to
raise awareness of our products and expand our business.
- Provide
projects and application demo ideas to the application team to move
customer projects forward.
- Manage the
activity of distributors and sales agents assigned to customers regarding
our products in order to expand our business.
- Work
closely with customers and sales partners to further identify customer
needs and new product opportunities.
