Brief Summary of Position

MIS SAP Analyst

Location: Itasca, IL                              

Reports to: Associate Director, MIS

In addition to the Primary Responsibilities listed below, the SAP Analyst is responsible for the analysis, design, implementation, and support of SAP-based projects for all the MIS-supported business units.  This is a full-time, salaried position located at our AHN location at 1300 N. Arlington Heights Rd. Itasca, IL 60143

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare Business & Technical Requirements, Functional Specifications, Solution Design Proposals, Test Plans, and Operating Procedures for Business Users, Technical Teams, and Business Management

• Coordinate Programs & Projects for Implementation in coordination with Business Management Teams, Project Steering Teams, MIS Technical Execution Resources, External Vendors, and End Users

• Participate in SAP Solution Design for Major System Changes & Projects

• Analyze Business Changes & Business Management Requests to identify SAP-related Systems Design

Position Requirements

Requirements of the Role:

·     Bachelor's Degree in 1-3 years’ experience in a role supporting or using the SAP ERP system.

·     At least 1 year experience in Project Coordination or Systems Implementation Role is a plus as is experience in SAP S/4 HANA

·      Knowledge of Project Management Methodologies, Preferably Agile Methodology.  Working Knowledge of business processes in the SAP ERP suite.

·     Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing. 

·     Ability to develop working relationships with both team members and internal customers across multiple locations

·     Travel approx. 10% (ex. estimated one travel event per quarter) to one of the following affiliate locations: IA, NC with potential visits to MA, OR, and/or Nova Scotia.
